    During the visit an infant was observed sleeping in a sleep sack in which the child's arms are not free, and may restrict the child's movement. Corrective action: “Safe Sleep Incident Report – March 26, 2026 On the date of the visit, the child’s sleep sack was removed due to non-compliance with safe sleep guidelines, for the lack of Movement. The parent was notified immediately. The parent subsequently provided an arms-free sleep sack and signed the EEC Safe Sleep form. All staff were informed of the incident and reminded of proper safe sleep procedures. Staff members responsible for the care of the infant will complete Safe Sleep and SIDS training through Strong Start within 10 days. The incident will be reviewed during the staff meeting on March 26, 2026, to reinforce adherence to all safe sleep policies and procedures.. Regulation: Programs serving infants must:, Children younger than six months of age at the time of enrollment must be under direct visual supervision at all times, including while napping, during the first six weeks they are in care.
