7.07(07), 7.07(10) — Physical Space (Indoor & Outdoor)

There is an above ground pool. There are lots of tools and other materials that need to be removed so there is a safe area for the children to play. Corrective action: Today, all the tools and materials are being collected and stored in one place, and the pool will remain without the ladders. Regulation: Outdoor Space. The licensee must maintain, or have access to, an outdoor play area of at least 75 square feet per child who is outside at any one time., Indoor Space. The indoor space must be clean, safely maintained, well-ventilated and well-lit, of sufficient size for the children served, and must encourage play and learning.
