7.13(04)(c) — Transportation

While observing in the classrooms educators reported an educator was transporting children. The Licensor saw the educator transporting children. The educator transporting the children does not have a current 7D License. Corrective action: We would like to clarify that all staff designated to transport children are required to maintain a current 7D license. At this time, we are reviewing our records and renewal timelines, as discrepancies may occur during the expiration and renewal process. We are reinforcing our verification procedures to ensure all transportation documentation remains current and clearly communicated moving forward, so that staff have a clear and consistent understanding of one another’s certifications, licenses, and roles.. Three medications reviewed were expired. Corrective action: We will introduce a proactive tracking process with scheduled check-ins to ensure all required documentation remains complete, accurate, and up to date.. Children listed on Allergy list with required medication. Educators were not aware what children had medications. Corrective action: We will be implementing comprehensive staff training to ensure all educators are fully informed of children listed on the allergy list and the medications they require. This training will focus on safety protocols and emergency response procedures to ensure prompt and appropriate action when needed.. 7.13(04)(j) — Transportation Safety

No post trip inspection documented on the vehicle attendance after the vehicle returned to the program with children then parked and turned the vehicle off for the afternoon. Corrective action: We are revising our post-trip inspection procedures to require immediate completion following each transportation route, with two staff members independently conducting and verifying the inspection to ensure safety and assurance.
