7.07(07), 7.07(10) — Physical Space (Indoor & Outdoor)

A part of the fence needs to be secured of sharp edges. Working smoke and carbon detectors. Refrigerator temp is reading 38 degrees. Hot water temp is reading 112.3 degrees. Corrective action: I will secured the fence of all sharp edges by folding the part of the fence that's sharp and adding tape to the area where is folded to make sure there is no sharp edges.. Regulation: Outdoor Space. The licensee must maintain, or have access to, an outdoor play area of at least 75 square feet per child who is outside at any one time., Indoor Space. 7.07(07)(d) — Physical Facility - Outdoors

The fence in the backyard needs to be repaired before it can be used with the children. Corrective action: I will be taking the kids to Pendleton avenue park 200 Pendleton ave Springfield ma 01109 by walking there . The repair will be done as soon as possible.. Regulation: The outdoor play area must be free from hazards including but not limited to: a busy street, a parking lot, poisonous plants, water hazards, debris, broken glass, chipping, peeling or flaking paint, dangerous machinery or tools, and weather-related and environmental hazards or small objects that could present a choking hazard to young children. Any such hazard must be removed or fenced by a sturdy, permanently installed barrier which is at least four feet high or otherwise protected or removed, as appropriate. Two children need current lead screening test. Two children need current medical exams. Corrective action: Both children got their lead screening and physical done just wait for parent to get results and bring them in to me. Both parent stated that result will take a week to come in.. Need copies of one staff's training certificates for their files. Logs of days and hours assistant worked is documented. Corrective action: I have the staff training/ certification and all their paper in their individual binder..
