Chipping paint in various areas of the classroom. Corrective action: The director met with all site coordinators and spoke to them about keeping up with the maintenance inside the classroom. They were advised to let the site coordinator know if anything needs to be fixed inside the classroom. The director will also be checking each room monthly for anything that needs to be fixed to assure the room is being maintained properly. All the paint chips have been fixed and painted over.. Regulation: Chipping and Peeling Paint. The licensee must maintain the interior and exterior of the program in good repair, free of chipping, flaking, or peeling paint or broken plaster. The boys bathroom had vinyl flooring that was peeling up around the toilet. Corrective action: Currently we have a maintenance company working on all of our units. The boy's bathroom tile will be removed, and a new flooring will be put in. It will be completed on 9/30/25.. Regulation: All play equipment, fences and structures must be free of entrapment hazards., The licensee must ensure that the physical facilities are safe, clean, in good repair and free from hazards and clutter. The licensee must monitor the environment daily to identify and remove or repair any hazards that may cause injury to children. Exits and evacuation routes must be kept clear of obstructions., Building Inspection. Every program that is not located in a residence and every program that has a licensed capacity of more than 10 children must provide a certificate of inspection from the Department of Public Safety or the local building inspector certifying that the facility complies with the State Building Code (780 CMR).
