I had been working on the private children's records, they were complete, I couldn't remember where I put them, I do have them.. There is documentation of attendance but the attendance was not current during time of visit. Corrective action: emergency card for the children were on site. But as licensor [redacted] stated the rest of the children's records were not on premises. My [redacted]/ Assistant [redacted] took it on that morning to organize and label the children’s records. Again I deeply apologize for not having those important documents on the premises. Attendance will be updated daily going forward.. No evidence of evacuation drills. [redacted] stated she took all paper work to help her [redacted] get organized for renewal. Corrective action: Our evacuation drills/ smoke detector logs were always kept on site at all times. so it would be available for inspection, fire officers, EEC officials. 7.07(10) — Physical Facility - Indoors
Educator had prescription pill bottles that are easily accessible to children, located in licensed bedroom space. There was evidence of incense burning with ashes in bowl on the floor. Corrective action: Prescription pill bottles were removed from the licensed room instantly. There was no incenses burning at the time of care. Incense Ashes were from the Previous night after the children were released from care and the incense Ashes were also removed from the licensed room. Children did not have access to the licensed room. During unexpected visit as they were sleeping in a separate room.. Regulation: Indoor Space. The indoor space must be clean, safely maintained, well-ventilated and well-lit, of sufficient size for the children served, and must encourage play and learning.
