One medication was not in its original packaging or did not have a prescription label. Corrective action: Original packing and prescription label has been received from family.. 1- Medication consent of a child for nonprescription medication is missing name of medication. 2- A child’s medication consent form for EpiPen is missing parent signature. 3- A child’s IHCP is missing doctor’s authorization and is missing medication consent for Zyrtec. Corrective action: All forms have been completed with full consent, information, and signatures. The staff have been re-trained on how to receive and document medication.. In one of the preschool rooms the table was not washed and disinfected before lunch. Corrective action: Since the visit, staff have washed and disinfected tables daily before lunch and snacks. They have received specific training to correct this. They will re-do the EEC training on cleaning and disinfecting and be trained by our program director during the next professional development day in March.. Regulation: The licensee must ensure that educators and children wash their hands with liquid soap and running water, using friction, in accordance with DPH guidelines.
