The first aid kit was not available for review. The educator will ensure to maintain a fully stocked first aid kit in the program. During the visit there was no refrigerator in the home. The educator reported that they are moving their current refrigerator from the home they are moving from. The educator needs to ensure that there is a working refrigerator in the home. The temperature needs to be set between 32-40F. Corrective action: Hot water temperature •Current situation: The hot water was at 139 degrees, now it has dropped to 118 degrees. • Action: Continuously monitor the water temperature to ensure that it does not exceed 120 degrees again. The following were observed during the visit: Vitamin bottles were on the kitchen counter within the reach of the children. Paint containers were on the floor in the laundry room within the reach of the children. The television in the living room was unsecured and could tip over. Corrective action: 1- Vitamins within reach of children •Current situation: The vitamins were on the kitchen counter within the reach of children. •Action: The vitamins have been removed and stored in a high cabinet out of the reach of children. •Additional action: Check weekly that all dangerous products are out of the Reach of children. 2- Paintings within reach of children •Current situation: The paintings were on the laundry floor within the reach of children. •Action: The paintings have been removed and stored in the garage outside the house. • Additional action: Perform monthly inspections to ensure that there are no other products Dangerous in sight or within the reach of children. 3-TV in the living room unsecured •Current situation: The TV in the living room was unsecured and could fall . •Action: Secure the television using the appropriate mechanisms to avoid any risk Off fall. •Additional action: Perform a review every three months of other furniture or objects that may pose a risk to children (such as shelves or electronic devices)..
