7.07(02), 7.07(03) — Physical Facility - Indoors

The fire inspection is expired. Corrective action: The fire inspection is scheduled for Tuesday, 3/17/26. Note: We weren't able to schedule the inspection until we received the report from our alarm testing which was completed in January. The report was delayed for an unknown reason and was received on 3/10/26.. Regulation: Building Inspection. Every program that is not located in a residence and every program that has a licensed capacity of more than 10 children must provide a certificate of inspection from the Department of Public Safety or the local building inspector certifying that the facility complies with the State Building Code (780 CMR). The certificate must indicate the following:, Fire Inspection. Every program not located in a residence must submit evidence of compliance with applicable fire codes. 7.11(02)(c), 7.11(02)(e) — Health

An inhaler for a child with [redacted] was expired on the day of the visit. The inhaler expired in November 2025. Corrective action: A new prescription with a new inhaler were received on 3/10/26. All medication will be reviewed at the beginning of each month to keep on top of upcoming expiration dates and giving parents time to provide new prescriptions.. Regulation: All prescription medications must be in the containers in which they were originally dispensed and with their original labels affixed. Over-the-counter medications must be in the original manufacturer’s packaging., Unless otherwise specified in a child’s individual health care plan, the educator must store all medications out of the reach of children and under proper conditions for sanitation, preservation, security and safety during the time the children are in care and during the transportation of children. 7.04(17)(p)(04) — Emergency Preparedness

Evacuation procedures were not posted next to each exit in the preschool and school age rooms, and one evacuation route and procedure was missing next to the door leading to the front parking lot in the preschool room. Corrective action: All exits have the evacuation route posted, with primary and secondary exits highlighted. The evacuation procedure has been added to the front door of the preschool room leading to the parking lot. In addition these procedures have been attached to the front of each evacuation sign for all exits.. Regulation: next to each exit, emergency and evacuation procedures.
