The plan must describe the chronic condition, its symptoms, any medical treatment that may be necessary while the child is in care, the potential side effects of that treatment, and the potential consequences to the child’s health if the treatment is not administered.    A staff member reported that they didn't have children that have medications. Upon reviewing the FA kit it was determined that one child has an emergency medication. The program did not have written parental consent for the medication and did not have an IHCP. Corrective action: After speaking to [redacted] he mentioned receiving a medical letter from the doctor from the child's mom. Our front desk will contact the parent and make sure she fills out the correct form and gets an action plan from the doctor..
