On the day of the visit the attendance records in one toddler room did not include a child visiting from another toddler room. Corrective action: Will ensure that when a child is moved to another classroom that teachers add the child to their attendance form and sign the child out of his/her original classroom.. On the day of the visit there was an Assistant Teacher in the Safari Toddler Room alone with 4 children. Corrective action: This is not a regular occurrence. The teacher in this classroom had an emergency she had to take care of during nap time. The teacher returned to the classroom while the licensor was still at the center. We will ensure that this does not happen again.. Regulation: the Licensee must keep the schedule current and posted in an area easily visible to educators, parents and visitors., All educators must possess the qualifications required for their positions in accordance with EEC regulations. On the day of the visit the Building Inspection was outdated and had an expiration date of 6/18/25. Corrective action: Building Inspection was scheduled for 07/17/2025. A reinspection is scheduled for 09/17/2025 due to needing to add illuminating exit sign to back hallway exit. As soon as I receive the building certificate, I will forward it over to EEC.. Every program that is not located in a residence and every program that has a licensed capacity of more than 10 children must provide a certificate of inspection from the Department of Public Safety or the local building inspector certifying that the facility complies with the State Building Code (780 CMR). Corrective action: The Individual Health Care Plan for said child was redone by the parent and was filled out completely. Will ensure going forward that the form is reviewed by staff who is completing the intake to ensure that it is filled out correctly..
