On 10/14/2025 as the licensing specialists were outside leaving the facility; a licensing specialist observed a staff member who was on the preschool playground with 2 boys. One of the boys had gone over to the door of the center, the staff member grabbed the boy by the forearm and pulled the child away from the door. The child threw himself onto the ground, the staff member continued to hold onto the boy's arm while the staff member walked over and sat down on a chair while dragging the child who was laying on the ground. Licensing specialist witnessed a school aged child walking back to the bus alone and was left unattended while grabbing something from the van that took a approximately 2-3 minutes to grab. K.A.R. 28-4-421 Terms of temporary permit or license. (a) (1) License capacity shall be determined by age of children, available space and number of self-contained units per facility.
