K.A.R. 28-4-115 Facility. (i) ( 5) (A) Impact-absorbent surfacing material shall be installed in each use zone under and around anchored equipment over four feet in height, including climbing equipment, slides, and swings.

K.A.R. 28-4-115 Facility. (c) Each facility shall have 25 square feet of available play space per child and shall be constructed, arranged, and maintained to provide for the health and safety of children in care. Each applicant, each applicant with a temporary permit, and each licensee shall ensure that the facility meets the following requirements:

Kitchen sink was full of dirty dishes. Food was on the floor underneath the kitchen table. Dirty dishes, spoon and food wrappers were behind a couch in the living room. K.A.R. 28-4-116a Napping and sleeping. (b) (1) Each applicant with a temporary permit and each licensee shall develop a written plan for safe sleep practices and implement safe sleep practices for children in care who are napping or sleeping.

A record of each child's immunizations shall be obtained not later than 60 calendar days after the child's initial enrollment in a child care facility and shall be maintained on the child's medical record.
