K.A.R. 28-4-125 Background checks. (e) ensure that no individual works, regularly volunteers, or resides in the facility until the results of the individual's background checks verify that the individual is not prohibited from working, regularly volunteering, or residing in a facility pursuant to K.S.A. 65-516, and amendments thereto.

K.A.R. 28-4-430 Health practices; illness and abuse; general health requirements for staff. (a) (1) Each medical record shall include the results of a health assessment conducted not more than twelve months before and obtained not later than 60 calendar days after the child's initial enrollment in a child care facility. The assessment shall be conducted by a licensed physician, a physician assistant, or by a nurse approved to perform health assessments.

K.A.R. 28-4-430 Health practices; illness and abuse; general health requirements for staff. (a) (5) Immunizations for each child in care shall be current as medically appropriate and shall be maintained current for protection from the diseases specified in K.A.R. 28-1-20(d). A record of each child's immunizations shall be obtained not later than 60 calendar days after the child's initial enrollment in a child care facility and shall be maintained on the child's medical record form.

K.A.R. 28-4-428a Education and training requirements. (c) (3) Each individual who is required to obtain the certifications shall maintain current certifications.

K.A.R. 28-4-127 Telephone; emergency medical treatment; reporting requirements. (b) (1) (A) Written permission of the parent or legal guardian for emergency medical treatment on a form that meets the requirements of the hospital or clinic where emergency medical care will be given; and

K.A.R. 28-4-124 Parental permission for children to go off-premises. (b) Written permission on a form supplied by the department shall be obtained from the parent or legal guardian of each child who will be transported or allowed to participate in any off-premises field trip.
