K.A.R. 28-4-117 Health care requirements for children under 16 years of age and recordkeeping. (c) Immunizations for each child, including each child of the provider under 16 years of age shall be current as medically appropriate and shall be maintained current for protection from the diseases specified in K.A.R. 28-1-20(d). A record of each child's immunizations shall be obtained not later than 60 calendar days after the child's initial enrollment in a child care facility and shall be maintained on the child's medical record.

(b) (1) Each inground pool shall be enclosed by a fence at least five feet high, with openings no greater than 3.5 inches, and constructed and maintained in good repair to discourage children and unwanted visitors from accessing the pool area. The wall of a building may be used as one side of the fence if the wall has no openings, including windows and doors, capable of providing direct access to the pool area.
