Substantiated incident: Transportation Concerns (Business Practices, Health and Safety)

There were concerns this facility was transporting children in personal cars without adequate child restraints. During the investigation, multiple employees confirmed, and the investigator witnessed, the transporting of children without adequate child restraints in a personal car and in the facility's transport van. Resolution: The provider updated their transportation form and provided to parents. There were concerns of a child being dropped by staff. During the investigation, it was verified a baby was being carried in a bouncer from the outside to the inside. The bouncer caught the door jam and the baby fell out of the bouncer and landed on the wooden porch hitting their head.
