This provider self-reported that there was inappropriate touching between two children at naptime. After reviewing footage, the health department determined that due to the cots being close together and overlapping blankets, it creates a general safety concern and allows for inappropriate touching to take place. Resolution: This provider has updated the nap time policy to require significant separation between cots and that "non-nappers" will be in another room during nap time. Additionally, staff are no longer allowed to document on Pro-Care during nap time until another staff member is in the room. Source: Idaho Child Care Check (DHW) substantiated incident report.
