Substantiated incident: Supervision Concerns (Business Practices, Supervision Concern)

There were concerns that diapering was not done on a regular basis and that supervision was regularly not in compliance. During the investigation, the child/staff ratios were in compliance and adequate diaper changes were noted through documentation in Procare. However, there was a staff member on the premise without the proper background clearances, creating a supervision concern. Resolution: At the time of investigation, the staff member without proper clearances was sent home. During a follow-up, the staff member was no longer employed by the facility.
