This provider self-reported that she is in a staffing shortage and at times, the lack of staff will put her out of compliance with child/staff ratios. The health department performed an investigation and observed a staff member on-site caring for children without a current CPR certificate. Since there were not enough staff with proper clearances, the facility was out of compliance with ratios and the owner had to come to the facility to bring them back into compliance. Resolution: The health department informed the provider that her facility will be put on a quarterly, unannounced inspection list due to her non-compliance with child/staff ratios.
