HAR §17-892.2-35 — All caregivers meet qualifications

At the time of the visit, Aide did not have their PATCH Registry qualifications.

HAR §17-892.2-35 — All caregivers, substitutes, and volunteers shall complete initial health and safety training within 45 days of hire

At the time of the visit, Aide did not have her initial health & safety assessment completed in HANA.

HAR §17-892.2-35 — Caregivers shall complete at least 16 hours of ongoing training in at least 2 of the department approved topic areas

At the time of the visit, DOE SPED Teacher did not have current ongoing health & safety training in HANA.

HCAP Head Start at Kahuku Elementary has the following qualified staff that have been cleared to work with children: 1 - Director/Teacher, 1 - Director/Assistant Teacher. However, at the time of the visit, two aides do not have their PATCH Registry Qualifications.
