License-exempt child care facilities must comply with Rule 65C-22.001(6), F.A.C., Child Care Facility Handbook (October 2021), and Rule 65C-22.010(1)(e)1., F.A.C., CF-FSP Form 5316, Child Care Facility Standards Classification Summary (October 2021) standards 232, 3545, 47, and sub-standards 1.4, 33.433.5, 33.7-33.10, 46.1-46.4, and 46.7. If the ground cover in place is loose ground cover (such as, but not limited to: mulch, shredded rubber chips, or sand) a minimum of 6 inches in depth is required in the use zone. Asphalt, concrete, hard packed dirt, hay, grass or leaves are unsuitable for use in the use zone area.
