The family day care home did not have at least one portable infant seat or potty chair for diapered children. Comments: During this FCCH License Renewal Inspection, there was no portable infant seat observed in the childrens bathroom. The provider did mention to the inspector that none of their children are currently potty trained and are in diapers. Technical Assistance was provided by explaining to the provider that there needs to be a portable infant seat or potty chair in the childrens bathroom at all times. Inspector explained to the provider that they can email the inspector a picture of the infant potty seat in order to clear this violation. SAFETY/HEALTH Compliance Comments During this FCCH license renewal inspection, the inspector observed this standard and found it to be in compliance. The provider uses foldable sleeping mats that are clean, sanitary and in good repair. Individual sheets were used on the mats and the provider stated that they are washed every day. 29. (Section 9.7, number 1) Physical Facility [SR] Comments: At the time of the inspection observed several hazards near our door play area. Observed Statues, Cones, Lose wood plants, wheelbarrow, plants of fence, boxes, and bins. Provided TA that since the area is located in open space, children have access to items. Physical Facility [SR] Comments: At the time of inspection there was excessive equipment and debris in the back yard that leads to the children's outdoor play area. The playground area is fenced off with a small metal fence approx. 3 feet. There are two large items covered by a blue trop. Provider states that the items are 4-wheelers. There are several discarded items: folded slide, plastic wadding pools, child size stepping stool. The excessive materials pose a safety hazard so close to the play area.
