The operator's record of monthly fire drills failed to include information noted in number(s) as follows: [failure to perform and document emergency preparedness drills. ] 1. the date 2. the number of children in attendance at the time 3. the time taken to evacuate the premises Comments: At the timer of this inspection the provider failed to conduct/document an emergency preparedness drill on the fire drill records log. Technical Assistance was provided by reminding the provider that they need to conduct emergency preparedness drills annually. Fire Drill Log: Main Route: 2/17/2026 821am 1 adult 2 children .1 minute to complete drill. used front door Alternate Route: 1/27/2026 1120am 1 adult 3 children 90 seconds to complete drill used kitchen door Naptime Drill: 11/24/2025 1210pm 1 adult 4 children 103 seconds to complete drill used back door. Providers fire extinguisher maintenance was also found to be expired. The fire extinguisher was last observed to be serviced in May of 2024, with 12 months of service. Technical Assistance was provided by reminding the provider that their fire extinguisher needs to be serviced, and that the maintenance lasts 12 months. The fire extinguisher will be observed for proper maintenance during the reinspection, which will be conducted on 4/17/2026. Provider understood and will follow up with contractor. Compliance Comments During this FCCH routine inspection, this standard was observed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit and all the required items were observed to be stored within an upper kitchen cabinet, out of the reach of the children, but accessible to the provider.
