During the licensure year, the operator failed to conduct monthly fire drills utilizing the approved fire alarm system or smoke detector at various dates and times when children are in care. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.21, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist observed that the operator failed to conduct monthly fire drills for May 2026, the last fire drill was conducted on 04/01/2026. TA was provided: Licensing Specialist discuss requirement with the provider. A fire drill was conducted during the inspection and documented on the drill log, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection. The operator did not have documentation of current vaccination records for the pet observed.Vaccinations are available for this type of animal. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the operator advised that there is 1Dog on the premises. Licensing Specialist observed that the dogs vaccination was expired on 04/28/2025. Licensing Specialist observed the dog was playing around the children. TA was provided: Licensing Specialist discussed requirement with the children, Licensing Specialist requested that the dog to be placed in an area separate from the children. Owner placed the dog away from the children. The dog must not have any contact with the children until vaccinated and the provider must provide proof of vaccination once completed and no later than given due date.
