    During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [Last drill conducted 3-7-25]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed documentation of the last fire drill having been conducted on 5-16-25. The last approved fire inspection for this program was dated 1-24-25. The fire extinguisher certifications are valid until 10-2025. A fire drill had not been conducted since 3-7-25 ***During the inspection, a fire drill was conducted in the presence of the Licensing Specialist. There were 9 adults and 59 children present. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the CCF Handbook: A. During the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care." During the time of the inspection, this was resolved by personnel updating their attendance upon arrival back into the facility. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the CCF Handbook: C. The operator must maintain and post in an easily seen location a written record of emergency preparedness drills showing the type of drill, date conducted, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, and time taken for all individuals to complete the drill."
