During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [No fire drill was conducted September, December, January or february]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: At the time of inspection, the facilitys fire drill logs were reviewed and found to be missing documentation for the months of September, December, January, and February of the current licensing year. Technical assistance conducted: Corrected at the time of inspection. I advised the facility manager that during the 10-month school year, the facility is required to conduct a total of 10 drills, including 8 fire drills and 2 emergency preparedness drills. A copy of the eligible results, for the Level 2 screening, generated from the Clearinghouse must be on record for each personnel. If awaiting Out-of-State criminal history results, a copy of the DCF email informing of the individuals eligibility for a provisional hire status must be in the personnel file.
