CCF Handbook, Section 5.1, D Comments: At time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed 3 staff records did not have documentation of five years of employment history in the file. The Licensing Specialist took pictures. The Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook 5.1, D The employer/owner/operator must conduct employment history checks, including documented attempts to contact each employer that employed the individual within the preceding five years, and documentation of the findings. Documentation must include the applicants job title and description of his/her regular duties, confirmation of employment dates, and level of job performance. The employer/owner/operator must make at least three attempts to obtain employment history information. The Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook 7.4.1 E. A copy of each request made to out of state child abuse and neglect registries for individuals who lived outside the state of Florida in the preceding five years. F. The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed documentation of the last fire drill having been conducted on 2/27/2025. The Specialist will conduct a fire drill as the time of the next inspection. The last approved fire inspection for this facility was dated 03/12/2024. The fire extinguisher certifications are valid until 02/2025.The Specialist took pictures of the fire extinguishers with expired tags. The Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook 3.8.2.B.B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times.
