Sec 7-4.04(a), Ordinance: In the absence of the director, there must designated, in writing, a person at least twenty-one (21) years of age or older who is in charge of the facility and on the premises at all times and who has full access to all records required to be maintained by this Ordinance. The facilitys designee did not have access to all records in the absence of the director. Staff Requirement [SR] Comments: Upon arrival at this facility to conduct a Routine #1 inspection the Child Care Licensing monitor was informed that the director had left the facility and that the person at the front desk did not have a key to the office where both employee and children records are stored. The facility needs to designate a person who will be in charge in the absence of the director and ensure that this person has access to the office/records when the director is not on site.
