Technical assistance was provided that staff seek the preservice training to become compliant with School Readiness standards. The following equipment and/or toys were not safe: [the toddler slide ] as evidenced by [broken plastic opening on the slide ]. (Section 11.1, number 2) (Section 11.2, numbers 2 and 4) Safety [SR] Comments: At the time of the inspection, observed the slide on the toddler playground was cracked. Although the slide had blue tape to discourage use and staff are also informed, the slide has a sharp/jagged edge exposed from the cracked plastic. This is a hazard for the children as the slide equipment is unsafe. Technical assistance was provided the slide part to the play equipment on the toddler playground must be replaced or removed. The facility provided paperwork to the inspector that the slide equipment part has been ordered for replacement/repair. Compliance Comments At the time of the inspection, observed the first aid kit supplies complete with manual located in the main front office. Also, observed each classroom has first aid kit supplies too. 32.
