A staffing ratio of [6:1] for the children age [1 to 2] is the minimum required. There was/were [1] staff for [7] children aged [1 to 2] observed. Comments: During the inspection, the staff-to-child ratio in the one-year-old classroom did not meet the minimum regulatory requirement. Licensing standards mandate a ratio of one staff member per six children aged 12 to 24 months. At the time of observation, seven children in this age group were present with only one staff member assigned to the classroom. Technical assistance was provided to support compliance. The facility was advised to maintain appropriate staffing levels at all times across all age groups and classrooms, including ensuring adequate coverage when staff members temporarily leave the classroom.
