CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.1, B General Requirements [SR] Comments: Child exited the building and walked to the end of the parking lot where he was located by his parent. 2.4.1 General Supervision Requirements A. Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor play area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised. B. Child care personnel must be assigned to provide direct supervision to a specific group of children and be with that group of children at all times. Children must never be left without child care personnel supervision inside or outside the facility, in a vehicle, or at a field trip location. 05. The facilitys storage of harmful items including cleaning supplies, flammable products, and poisonous, toxic and hazardous materials allowed access by children in care. CCF Handbook, Section 3.2, B Physical Environment [SR] Comments: A spray bottle of air freshener was left on bathroom counter in the 2's hallway. Staff moved into a high shelf in cabinet. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Upon entry to the infant room, counselor observed a pair of air pods charging in a low outlet on the floor within reach on an infant. Staff picked up air pods and charging cord, then replaced the safety cover on the outlet. 13.
