CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, D Sanitation and Equipment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist measured the depth of the mulch under the slide in Playground #3, which was measured from 5 to 5.5 inches. Wooden blocks had been installed around the slide area to retain the mulch and prevent it from being washed away by rain. The Licensing Specialist also measured the height of the wooden blocks, which was 5 inches. The Provider advised the Licensing Specialist that, according to the Owner, the slide area has been in this condition since the facility first opened in 2024. The provider advised the Licensing Specialist that the damage occurred earlier this week. - Rusted gate latch was observed on the Outdoor Playground #2. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided Technical Assistance (TA) per CCF Handbook: "3.1 General Health and Safety Requirements A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Additionally, several chemicals, including bleach and insect spray, were stored inside the sink cabinet. The cabinet is unlocked and children that are in care will have access to that. Signs of water damage were observed on ceiling tiles in each classroom 2. A broken ceiling tile was observed in the lobby area 3. Broken ceiling tiles were observed in the Age 2 & 3 Classroom which were detaching from the ceiling. 4. Cracks were observed in the caulking behind the sink in the children's restroom of the large Age 1 Classroom 5. Peeling paint was observed in several classrooms and children's restrooms 7. Toilet bolt caps were missing in children's restrooms, one is located in large age 1 classroom and another one is in VPK classroom. 8.
