The facilitys outdoor play area contained litter, nails, glass or other hazards that posed a low potential for harm to children. CCF Handbook, Section 3.5, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the previous renewal inspection on 8/26/2024 Licensing Specialist observed that the red and yellow playground station that had a sign saying full and self was rusted in multiple places. And the stairs on the large equipment located in the pre-school play ground were covered with brown rubber. The rubber was peeling and had cracks on multiple places exposing a rusty metal underneath. During this inspection Licensing Specialist observed that the red and yellow playground station that had a sign saying full and self was rusted in multiple places was repainted covering the rusted areas. During this inspection Licensing Specialist observed that the stairs on the large equipment located in the pre-school play ground were covered with brown rubber still in the same condition. Director informed licensing Specialist the she had purchased "Flex Tape" and "Rust-oleum" Spray paint to cover the cracks and the rust and she was planning to work on fixing the issue today. Licensing Specialist observed that the flex tape was labeled as All-Purpose waterproof tape. And the Rust-Oleum spry paint was labeled as indoor/outdoor and stops rust. TA was provided, The director taped all the cracks on the stairs and spray painted them with the Rust-Oleum, and informed Licensing Specialist that the children will not use this equipment today, they will be using the bike path instead. Licensing Specialist observed that the rusted areas were covered, this was a temporary fix, thus returning this standard into compliance at the time of this inspection.
