CCF Handbook, Section 3.2, B (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that chemical cleaning supplies were stored in unlocked desk drawers in the office. At the time, school-aged children were present in the office with the teacher, and the supplies were accessible to the children. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided the technical assistance per CCF Handbook "3.2 Toxic/Hazardous Material/Firearms/Weapons B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times." During the inspection, this issue was resolved. The provider relocated all chemical cleaning supplies to a locked storage room, ensuring they are no longer accessible to the children. 14. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, C (Section 2.1 - Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the Fire Drill Log and observed documentation of the last fire drill having been conducted on 07-16-2025. The last approved fire inspection for this facility was dated 06/05/2025. The fire extinguisher certifications are valid until 07-2025. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that the facility did not have fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A10BC in both vehicles used to transport children that are in care. During the time of the inspection, the facility had fire extinguishers with rating of 1A10BC in both vehicles. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided the technical assistance per CCF Handbook "3.8.2 Fire Safety B.    The Florida Certificate of immunization was not acceptable in that: [ The form was not current (expired)]. CCF Handbook, Section 7.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Record Keeping [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that one child's record (who has been enrolled for more than 30 days and was on-site) did not include a current DH form 680, Florida Certification of Immunization in the student file, as the immunization record had expired. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided the technical assistance per CCF Handbook "6 Health Requirements There are three common modes of transmission for the spread of microorganisms in child care settings: contact, droplet, and airborne. Many common infections encountered in the child care setting are transmitted by direct or indirect contact. Child care facilities shall develop a written exposure plan regarding universal safety precautions, recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), to follow in the event there is exposure to blood and potentially infectious fluids. Personnel are required to be educated on the facilitys exposure plan regarding standard precautions before beginning to work and annually thereafter. Written documentation that child care personnel have participated in the facilitys annual refresher education for the exposure plan and understand the proper procedures in the event there is exposure to blood and potentially infectious fluids must be retained for 12 months and be available for licensing to review. 6.1 Communicable Disease Control B. Any child, child care personnel, or other person in the child care facility suspected of having a communicable disease must be removed from the program or placed in an isolation area until removed. Such person may not return without medical authorization, or until the signs and symptoms of the disease are no longer present. If the local health department official or primary health care provider suspects that a child or child care personnel are contributing to the transmission of the illness, are not adequately immunized when there is an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease, or the circulating pathogen poses an increased risk to the individual. The child or child care personnel must not return until the health department or primary health care provider determines the risk of transmission is no longer present. Child care personnel who work in the food preparation area may not return until the signs and symptoms of the disease have not been present for 48 hours." 42.
