Child care personnel inappropriately interacted with children in care in a manner that was aggressive, demeaning or intimidating in nature. CCF Handbook, Section 8.2, C Enforcement [SR] Comments: During the time of the complaint the Licensing Specialist observed footage of an incident on 5/5/2026 were childcare personnel inappropriately interacted with a child in care in a manner that was aggressive. According to the DCF Handbook Section 8.2 Child Safety C. Child care personnel must appropriately interact with children to foster a healthy, safe environment that will encourage the childs physical, intellectual, motor, and social development. Interactions with children that are aggressive, demeaning or intimidating in nature are strictly prohibited. Fixed at the time of the inspection. Director informed Licensing that childcare personnel had been terminated. Child care personnel including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month did not complete the 40 hour Introductory Child Care Training requirement. CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Comments: During the time of the inspection Licensing Specialist observed that childcare personnel did not complete DCF requirements. According to the DCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Child care personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of child care training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Child care personnel who successfully completed the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training prior to January 1, 2004 are not required to fulfill the competency examination requirement. A.
