Every applicant for a license to operate a child care facility or a license for a change of ownership of a child care facility must document that the facility director has an active Director Credential prior to issuance of the license. An applicant for the Director Credential must meet the requirements referenced in CFFSP Form 5290, Florida Child Care and Education Program Director Credential and Renewal Application, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(k), F.A.C.
