    The play equipment was not maintained in a safe or sanitary condition for the children to use in that [the swing set is rusty]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, B and F Comments: During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed the swing sets in the outdoor play area to be rusty. The bolts and chains of the swing set were rusted out. Director advised that she needs additional time to remove or replace the swing sets. Licensing Specialist is allowing additional time for this standard to be brought back into compliance. CCF Handbook, section 3.12 Outdoor Equipment B. All playground equipment must be securely anchored, unless portable or stationary by design, in good repair, maintained in safe and sanitary condition, and placed to ensure safe use by the children. CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.2 and 4.5, C Comments: During the time of inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that one staff had not completed the 5-hour early literacy course. CCF Handbook, section 4.2.2 Early Literacy Training Pursuant to Section 402.305(2)(e)5., F.S., all child care personnel must complete a single course of training in early literacy and language development of children ages birth through five years that is a minimum of five clock hours or .5 CEUs.
