    The ground cover or other protective surface under the [stationary playground equipment] was not maintained. CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, D Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that the mulch around the stationary playground equipment did not measure the required 6 inches depth. According to the CCF Handbook, Section 3.12 Outdoor Equipment D. 1. If the ground cover in place is loose ground cover (such as, but not limited to mulch, shredded rubber chips, or sand) a minimum of 6 inches in depth is required in the use zone. Asphalt, concrete, hard packed dirt, hay, grass or leaves are unsuitable for use in the use zone area. TRAINING Compliance Comments Reminder: In-service training for 2025/2026 fiscal year must be completed before June 30, 2026. Bloodborne Pathogens training needs to be completed every year.
