   Background screening was not completed: [ every five years after the initial screening.] CCF Handbook, Section 5.2 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Record Keeping [SR] Comments: Background screening was not completed: every five years after the initial screening for one employee. The employee was removed from the classroom by the facility management during this inspection and has stated that the employee is suspended until the screening results have been received. (Resolved at the time of inspection) 5.2 Re-Screening A screening conducted under this rule is valid for five years, at which time a re-screen must be conducted in the same manner as the initial screening. Child Care Facility Handbook Page | 53 A. The five-year re-screen is required for all child care personnel. B. The five-year re-screen must include, at a minimum, a criminal records check (both national and statewide), a sexual predator and sexual offender registry search, and child abuse and neglect history of any state in which an individual resided during the preceding 5 years.
