The written record of the fire drills was incomplete and did not include the following:[a written record of the November 2025 fire drill.]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, C (Section 2.1 - Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist observed the fire extinguisher was last serviced on October 2025, and the annual fire inspection was conducted on 11/10/2025. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the written record of the fire drills was incomplete and did not include a written record of the November 2025 fire drill. The operator advised the Licensing Specialist the last fire drill was conducted on 11/24/2025. During the inspection, a fire drill was conducted in the presence of the Licensing Specialist. There was a total of 10 adults, 32 children at the time of the fire drill. This standard was resolved at the time of the inspection in that the Operator included in the fire drill log the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises for the November 2025 and December 2025 fire drills. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, C A current attendance record and parent contact information must accompany child care personnel out of the building during a drill or actual evacuation and be used to account for all children. The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises. Each fire drill record must be maintained for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the fire drill. The fire drills conducted must include, at a minimum: 1. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route, 2. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times, and 3. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority. This drill will be coordinated with the operator or designee. FOOD AND NUTRITION Compliance Comments During the time of the inspection, the Owner/Operator/Director advised the Licensing Specialist that the facility provides morning and afternoon prepackaged snacks to the children in their care, and the custodial parents/legal guardians provide their children with their meals. 24. The personnel/ volunteer (ten hours or more per month) record did not include a CF-FSP 5337 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Requirements form signed annually. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4, C (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Record Keeping [SR] Comments: During the time of inspection, the Owner/Operator/Director advised the Licensing Specialist that there are 9 employees. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored 9 of the 9 employee records. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed 5 employees whose record did not include a CF-FSP 5337 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Requirements form signed annually. This standard was resolved at the time of the inspection in that all 5 employees signed a CF-FSP 5337 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Requirements form. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4, C Records must be maintained and kept current on all child care personnel, as defined by Section 402.302 (3), F.S. These records shall be on-site, available for review by the licensing authority and must include: CF-FSP Form 5337, Child Abuse & Neglect Reporting Requirements, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(l), F.A.C., must be signed on or before hire date and annually thereafter by all child care personnel. Compliance Comments During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist reviewed the Background Screening Clearinghouse Roster. REMINDER: Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse: The Background Screening Clearinghouse will generate e-mails and send you, the provider, a reminder at 60, 30, and 21 days prior to the retention date expiration. Please note, you will only receive that notification for the staff that are on your facility roster. Please keep your roster current in the Clearinghouse to avoid confusion on expiration dates, or unwanted notifications. 45. The facility did not have a current and approved annual fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, A (Section 2.1 - Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the time of inspection, the Director advised that their Fire Panel is down therefore they do not have an approved fire inspection from the local fire authority. The director advised that they are currently on Fire Watch and are waiting for the panel to be fixed within the next few weeks. The Director was given until 12/13/2024 to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook 3.8.2 Fire Safety Unless statutorily exempted, all childcare facilities must conform to state standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal, Chapter 69A-36, F.A.C., Uniform Standards for Life Safety and Fire Prevention in Child Care Facilities. A copy of the current and approved annual fire inspection report completed by a certified fire inspector must be on file with the licensing authority. If the program is granted a fire inspection exemption by the local fire inspection office, the exemption must be documented and maintained on file at the program.
