SACCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Comments: Child care personnel including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month did not complete the 40 hour Introductory Child Care Training requirement. SACCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 During the time of inspection, it was observed that staff personnels did not completed the required 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training for school-age personnel as mandated. Technical Assistance was provided; the provider was advised that all child care personnel working 10 hours or more per month must successfully complete the Departments 40-hour introductory training, which includes 28 hours of Part I courses and 12 hours of Part II courses, with a weighted score of 70 or better on the competency examinations. The provider was reminded to ensure staff complete the required training within the mandated timeframe and to maintain documentation of completed training in personnel records and the Florida Pathways (Registry).
