During the time of the inspection, it was observed that the back section of the facility is currently being used by the provider for children in K1st grade. The provider stated that during the last visit this space was not in use, and the licensing specialist was informed that the area was not in use and access was not permitted. Technical Assistance Provided: The operator was advised that any area or room being used to provide child care services including aftercare must be included on the facilitys licensed floor plan and approved capacity. The additional space currently being used must be added to the providers license prior to continued use. During the time of the inspection, it was observed that two (2) infants were not being supervised during nap time. No child care personnel were present inside the room while the infants were napping. Per the provider, they were unaware that the teacher had left for break without notifying staff so that appropriate coverage could be arranged. The licensing specialist remained in the classroom until another child care personnel arrived to provide supervision. This standard was corrected at the time of inspection.
