The facility did not have a current and approved annual fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: LS observed the facility to not have a current and approved fire inspection. Unless statutorily exempted, all child care facilities must conform to state standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal, Chapter 69A-36, F.A.C., Uniform Standards for Life Safety and Fire Prevention in Child Care Facilities. A copy of the current and approved annual fire inspection report completed by a certified fire inspector must be on file with the licensing authority. If the program is granted a fire inspection exemption by the local fire inspection office, the exemption must be documented and maintained on file at the program. Last fire drill was conducted on 10/15/2024. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route was done on 5/9/2024. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times was done on 6/5/2024. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority was done on 3/1/2024. One emergency LOCKDOWN drill was done on 1/20/2024.
