    During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [no fire drill conducted in November 2024]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A Comments: Licensing specialist reviewed fire drill log and there was not a fire drill or emergency preparedness drill conducted during November 2024. Technical assistance was provided that during the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. Last fire drill was conducted on 10/18/2024. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route has not been conducted during licensure year. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times has not been conducted during licensure year. One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority has not been conducted during licensure year. One emergency LOCKDOWN drill has not been conducted during licensure year. One emergency INCLEMENT WEATHER drill has not been conducted during licensure year. Fire inspection conducted on 10/1/2024. Fire extinguisher serviced on 10/2024. As technical assistance, the licensing counselor requested that a Fire Drill be done in the presence of licensing authority, and the provider requested that the fire drill be done at the next scheduled inspection.
