Technical assistance was provided per SACCF handbook "Upon successful completion of the 40-hour introductory training requirements, child care personnel must complete a minimum of 10 clock-hours or one CEU of in-service training annually during the states fiscal year beginning July 1 and ending June 30. A. The attendance roster did not accompany the group of children in that [the roster was left in classroom ]. SACCF Handbook, Section 7.5, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Record Keeping [SR] Comments: During the attendance review conducted on December 5, 2025, it was observed by LS that the provider did not have the attendance roster with them while the children were on the playground. The provider corrected the issue at the time of inspection by retrieving the roster from the classroom and bringing it to the playground. Technical assistance was offered per CCF handbook " Attendance devices used for the purposes of tracking attendance may be used, but personnel must ensure accuracy of the documented attendance. Each classroom must have an attendance sheet/class roster for the group of children occupying that space. Attendance sheet/class roster must accompany the child care personnel and the group of children throughout the day should they leave the classroom space (for example when the group goes outside for outdoor play, the child care personnel must take the attendance sheet/class roster with the group)." The facility did not have documentation to show child care personnel had begun the introductory training within 90 days of employment in the child care industry. SACCF Handbook, Section 4.1 Comments: While reviewing personnel files, 1 personnel was observed to not have started training withing 90 days of employment in the child care industry. Technical assistance was provided per CCF handbook " Child care personnel must begin training within 90 days of employment and successfully complete the Departments training within 12 months from the date training begins. Training taken prior to employment in the child care industry does not constitute begin training. The begin training timeframe begins at the time of employment in the child care industry. Training completion may not exceed 15 months from the date of employment in the child care industry in any licensed Florida child care facility. This may be accomplished by classroom attendance in a Department-approved training course, acquiring an educational exemption from a Department-approved training course, beginning a Department-approved online child care training course, or by receiving results from a Department-approved competency examination.
