    During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [during the month of July]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A (Section 2.1 - Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: While reviewing fire drill log, it was observed that the provider failed to conduct a drill in month of July. Provider was able to correct of inspection by conducting a drill in the presence of DCF. Technical assistance was offered per CCF handbook "During the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. " Last fire drill was conducted on 8.4.2025, One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route was done on 5.30.2025 One fire drill during napping/sleeping times was done 12.7.2024, and One fire drill in the presence and at the request of the licensing authority was done on 8.21.2025, One emergency LOCKDOWN drill was done on 8.21.2025, and One emergency INCLEMENT WEATHER drill was done on 8.20.2025 Approved Fire Inspection: June 9, 2025 Fire Extinguisher: June 2025 FOOD AND NUTRITION 24.
