    The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Physical Environment [SR] Comments: 3.8.2 Fire SafetyA. B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times Technical assistance was provided regarding the importance to have all the fire extinguisher. An expired extinguisher can pose a significant risk, as it may fail to put out a fire, leading to greater damage or injury. The safety to the children's depends on having fully functional, up-to-date fire extinguishers. It is essential that all fire extinguishers are checked regularly for expiration and maintained properly to ensure their readiness in an emergency.The provider sent the document submission via text received at 1:03 PM the same day.
