    During the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care [during the months of October and November ]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.4, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: While reviewing fire requirements it was observed by LS that the provider failed to conduct monthly drills using the approve fire alarm systems during the months on October and November. Technical assistance was offered per CCF handbook " During the facilitys license year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. " An extended date was offered due to holiday weekend. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1, G & H (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: While conducting walkthrough of facility, it was observed by LS that the provider, stored bedding pads in the restroom. This observation is deemed unsanitary due to the nature of where the items were being stored without the protection of cabinet to prevent the spread of germs. Technical assistance was offered per CCF handbook " G. Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens. All bedding and linens must be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized at least once a week, and before use by another child. H.
