CCF Handbook, Section 3.12, B and F Sanitation and Equipment [SR] Comments: License Specialist observed that previous Non- Compliance were still not corrected, to include: several Outdoor equipment such as: Blue Iron Boat (were missing steering wheels, leaving plastic material with sharp and jagged edges, paint was rusted in several sections throughout the blue, iron boat). Red and Yellow Iron, truck, (was missing all steering wheels, leaving exposed metal hinges with holes and sharp edges. Rust paint was also observed) Plastic pink, green and blue climber (was missing parts, red ladder had top step #3 cracked and broken also Inner section with sets of yellow, blue and purple balls was broken and inner metal rod holding them in place was rusted and unsanitary) Red and blue Iron house with yellow roof (was rusted and had peeling paint in several sections.) Maintenance must include inspections conducted every month of all supports above and below the ground and of all connectors and moving parts. Documentation of maintenance inspections must be maintained for 12 months. All equipment used in the outdoor play area must be constructed and maintained according to manufacturers recommendations and allow for water drainage. The operator must maintain a written record of the fire drills showing the date, number of children and child care personnel in attendance, evacuation route used, and time taken for all individuals to evacuate the premises.
