    A ratio of [1] child care personnel for [6] children is required. A ratio of [1] child care personnel for [7] children was observed. s.402.305(4), F.S. General Requirements [SR] Comments: Licensing specialist observed 1 staff with 7 children in the 1-year old classroom. Per director, the second staff was having lunch. Upon arrival to the facility, the second staff was observed in the lobby area. Technical assistance was provided that The staff-to-child ratio, as established in Section 402.305(4), F.S., is based on primary responsibility for the direct supervision of children and applies at all times while children are in care. 2.3.1 Mixed Age Groups A. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children under one year of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than four children of any age group, at all times. B. In groups of mixed age ranges, where children one year of age but under two years of age are included, one child care personnel must be responsible for no more than six children of any age group, at all times.     Items unrelated to diaper changing were stored in the diaper changing area or placed on the diaper changing table/surface. CCF Handbook, Section 3.10.2, G Sanitation and Equipment [SR] Comments: Licensing specialist observed the diaper changing area mat in the 2-year old classroom had various items unrelated to diapering. The classroom staff was cutting some paperwork and names on top of the diaper changing mat. There were also 3 bottled water, two bowls with something similar to a piece of pound cake or bread, and a fruit. Technical assistance was provided that items unrelated to diaper changing shall not be stored in the diaper changing area nor shall they be placed on the diaper changing table.
